Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup(s) bulgur
  • 1 ½ cup(s) water
  • 1 tsp broth, instant
  • 4 tbsp sultanas
  • 1 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 2 tsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat olive oil in a saucepan. Peel and dice the onions, then sauté in the oil. After a while, add cayenne pepper. Mix thoroughly. Add the bulgur wheat, mix thoroughly, and toast lightly over moderate heat. Add the sultanas and sunflower seeds, mix thoroughly. Heat water and mix with the instant stock. Pour into the pan, cover, and let it swell over low heat for about 15 minutes.
