Low-carb and vegan

There are at least three reasons why you should try this snack: 1. It’s delicious, 2. It’s low carb, and 3. It’s vegan. And it’s also incredibly easy to prepare. Definitely a great alternative to traditional snacks. 1. Place the chickpeas in a sieve, rinse under cold water, and drain thoroughly. 2. Place the chickpeas on a tea towel, spread them out, cover with a kitchen towel, and leave to dry for about 30 minutes. 3. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread the dried chickpeas out, making sure they’re not on top of each other. 4. Place the chickpeas in the oven and bake at 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit), fan oven 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit), for 30 to 35 minutes. Open the oven every 10 minutes and shake the baking tray or turn the peas over with your hands. At the end of the baking process, they should be lightly browned and crispy. 5. Next, prepare the spice mix. To do this, add a teaspoon each of cayenne pepper or chili powder, cumin, garlic granules, paprika, and salt to a bowl and mix everything together. 6. Place the baked chickpeas in a bowl, drizzle with a few drops of oil, and stir well to coat them all over with a thin film of oil. 7. While the chickpeas are still warm, add them to the spice mix and toss them in, stirring until the spice mixture is almost evenly distributed. Then let them cool to room temperature, and this great snack is ready. 8. Have fun preparing them and enjoy! Note: You can vary the spices according to your taste. PS: Are you feeling hungry?
