Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g chili pepper(s), freshly harvested, approx. 40 pieces
  • 50 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 100 g sugar
  • 10 g salt
  • 20 g vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the chilies and cut them into 1cm pieces with scissors. Add salt, gelling sugar, and sugar. Blend in a blender until smooth (approx. 4 minutes). Bring to a boil in a saucepan and continue cooking for 3 minutes. Stir in the vinegar and bring back to a boil. Pour into small, previously boiled jars (baby food, capers, etc.) and secure with the lids. Caution! Very hot. Keeps well for half a year at lower temperatures.
