Spicy couscous with dried fruits

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g couscous, instant
  • 1 small pepper, red
  • 3 figs (soft), dried
  • 3 dates (soft), dried
  • 3 prunes
  • some raisins
  • 1 cm ginger root
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 7 minutes

Place the couscous in a small bowl, pour in the cooking water, cover with a lid or saucer, and let it swell for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, roughly chop the figs, dates, and prunes, deseed and finely chop the peppers, and peel and finely grate the ginger. Mix everything together. You can vary the amount of peppers and ginger to taste. Serve hot.
