Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 240 g flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 21 g yeast
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 sprigs of parsley
- 1 tbsp oil
- 400 g minced beef
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 100 ml tomato juice
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- Chili flakes, dried
- 2 onions, red
- 100 g feta cheese
- 6 Pepper
- Flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Combine flour, 1/2 tsp salt, and olive oil in a bowl. Dissolve the yeast in 150ml lukewarm water, add, and knead until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Peel and finely dice the onions. Chop the parsley into strips. Heat the oil and sauté the onions for 1-2 minutes. Fry the minced meat for 3-4 minutes. Add the tomato paste and sauté, deglaze with tomato juice, and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes. Stir in half the parsley. Slice the red onions and dice the feta cheese. Knead the dough, halve it, and roll out into two oval bases on a floured surface. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Let rise for another 15 minutes. Spread the minced meat over the bases and top with feta, onion rings, and pepperoni. Bake in a hot oven (approx. 200°C) for 25-30 minutes. Serve with mint yogurt.
