Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a yeast dough from the dough ingredients, enough for two cakes. I always freeze some. Pour the risen yeast dough into a springform pan and pull up a small edge. Finely chop the jerked beef or bacon and fry. Add the peeled and sliced onions and sauté until translucent. Pour the onion mixture onto the dough. Whisk the eggs with the cream, stir in pepper, salt, and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the onion mixture. Bake at 175 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes. The cake should be golden brown. Tastes great with new wine or bubbly.
