Spicy Glass Noodle Salad with Marinated Pork

The perfect spicy glass noodle salad with marinated pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

marinated pork

  • 400 g Pork schnitzel
  • 0,5 tsp Chili Sauce (Sambal Oelek)
  • 2 Cloves of garlic, grated
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 2 tbsp Peanut oil

dressing

  • 1 tbsp Liquid honey
  • 2 grated Garlic cloves
  • 1 Chili peppers, cut into fine rings
  • 1 Lemon, the juice
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce

salad

  • 1 packet Glass noodles
  • 0,5 Cucumber, finely diced
  • 150 g Sweet peppers, cut into strips
  • 1 bunch Spring onions, cut into thin rings
  • 4 Branches Fresh mint, finely chopped

marinated pork

  1. Cut the meat into slices, season with pepper and Samal Oelek, add the garlic and add the soy sauce and then mix everything very well and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Then the next day heat the peanut oil in the pan and fry the pork in it.

dressing

  1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and stir well.

salad

  1. Pour boiling water over the glass noodles, leave to swell for about 15 minutes, then strain over a sieve and drain well and then place in a salad bowl and cut into bite-sized pieces with scissors. Add the fried pork and dressing and mix well.
  2. Now add and mix in the cucumber, bell pepper, tomatoes and spring onions and finally fold in the fresh mint.
