Spicy Hawaiian steaks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g veal escalopes or steaks
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet)
  • 2 tsp orange(s), candied slices
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • some flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Season the steaks with salt and pepper and coat in flour. Fry the steaks in hot oil for 3 minutes on each side. Halve the tomatoes, season with pepper, coat in flour, and also fry. Top the steaks with cheese and pineapple slices. Cover the pan and melt the cheese. Sprinkle with paprika and top with tomatoes and candied orange slices. Perfect with: rice and curry sauce
