Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g honey
  • 10 g garlic, very finely chopped
  • ½ lime(s), zest
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), very finely chopped with the seeds

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fondue sauce, tastes very good with turkey and chicken

Peel the garlic and chop very finely or grate it. Cut the chili into very fine, thin strips, chopping the seeds very finely. Mix the honey, garlic, lime zest, and only half of the chili pepper together in a bowl. Season with salt and lime juice. Add more chili if you prefer it spicy. The dip can be served immediately. If you prepare the dip the day before, stir it thoroughly again shortly before serving. Variation: If you prefer a warm sauce, heat the dip over a water bath or very briefly in the microwave. You can now coat or pour the liquid sauce over the baked, roasted, or poached pieces of poultry and season it.
