Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 can of corn
- 2 cans kidney beans
- 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 5 tbsp cumin
- 2 tsp sambal oelek
- 2 tsp, leveled chili flakes
- 250 ml water
- n. B. sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Brown the minced meat and season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Add the kidney beans and sweetcorn and fry lightly. Meanwhile, crush the tomatoes and mix them with the tomato paste, sambal oelek, and water. Add them to the pan (add more or less water depending on the desired consistency). Add the cumin (you can add a little more if you like). Season with sugar, salt, and pepper, and add more spice if desired. This dish goes wonderfully with a herb baguette or bread of your choice, or even pasta.
