Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg plum(s)
  • 1 lemon(s), untreated, grated peel and juice
  • 2 tbsp curry powder, mild
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 3 dl red wine, dry

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Halve the plums, remove the stones, and cut into small cubes. Bring the lemon juice, grated lemon zest, sugar, red wine, curry powder, and plums to a boil and simmer over medium heat until syrupy. Pour into hot, rinsed jars, seal, and turn upside down. It goes well with game dishes and will keep for about 2-3 months.
