Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, waxy, soft-boiled
  • 30 g butter
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes
  • ½ bunch parsley, flat
  • some salt
  • some pepper
  • 2 stalks of thyme
  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 1 tbsp marjoram
  • 2 bulbs garlic, Chinese, quartered
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Potato from the oven

Halve or quarter the soft-boiled potatoes, depending on their size. Grease a baking dish with butter and arrange the potatoes in it. Wash the cherry tomatoes, halve them if desired, and add them to the potatoes. Mix the spices, herbs, and quartered garlic cloves with the potatoes. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. It’s an ideal accompaniment to grilled meats or fish.
