Spicy Rice with Spicy Yogurt Dip and Double-fried Cauliflower
The perfect spicy rice with spicy yogurt dip and double-fried cauliflower recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Spiced rice:
- 150 g Basmati rice
- 250 ml Coconut milk (1 small tetrapack)
- 100 ml Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground turmeric
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
Spicy yogurt dip:
- 1 cups Greek STYLE yogurt 150 g
- 1 tsp Mild curry powder
- 0,5 tsp Ground cumin
Double Fried Cauliflower: (See my recipe from yesterday: *))
- 450 g Double fried cauliflower / leftover from yesterday
Spiced rice:
- Bring basmati rice (150 g) in coconut milk (250 ml) and water (100 ml) with salt (1 teaspoon), ground turmeric (1 teaspoon) and lemon zest (1 teaspoon) to the boil and cover and simmer for approx.
Spicy yogurt dip:
- Mix the GREEK ART yogurt (150 g) with mild curry powder (1 teaspoon) and ground cumin (½ teaspoon).
Double fried cauliflower:
- Bake yesterday’s double-fried cauliflower *) in an oven-proof dish at approx. 150 ° C.
Serve:
- Use a funnel to distribute the basmati rice on the plates, add the spicy yoghurt dip and the double-fried cauliflower and serve.
