Spicy Rum, Rum Slices

The perfect spicy rum, rum slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Room temperature butter
  • 200 g Icing sugar
  • 150 g Grated cooking chocolate
  • 150 g Plain flour
  • 100 g Grated nuts
  • 5 Pc. Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Rum
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 1 glass Raspberry and chilli fruit spread
  • 2 cl Rum
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C, spread out paper on a baking sheet. Mix the flour with the chocolate, nuts and the baking powder. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites into a firm snow. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy and slowly stir in the yolk and rum little by little. Add the flour mixture and stir well. Stir in a small portion of the snow and then carefully fold in the rest. Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Let it cool a little, in the meantime spread the raspberry-chili fruit spread through a sieve and stir until smooth with the 2cl rum. Spread the fruit spread on the slices and decorate as desired.
