Saftas Ottily Cake

- 250 g Flour
- 50 g Potato flour
- 250 g Margarine
- 1 tsp Orangella orange zest
- 1 bag Vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 4 Eggs
- 50 g Lemon peel
- 100 g Whole milk chocolate shavings
- 70 g Sultanas
- 100 g Almonds in pens
- 50 ml High proof rum
- 250 g Sugar
- 250 g Apricot jam / water e.g. apricot
- 1 a cup Dark chocolate glaze
- 1 tsp Vanilla powdered sugar
- Do not melt the margarine completely liquid, and stir with the sugar, zest, rum and eggs until frothy.
- Now add the flour, baking powder and potato flour and prepare a batter.
- mix the solid ingredients (sultanas, almonds, chocolate shavings, lemon peel) into the batter by hand.
- Sprinkle a greased box with oat flakes and fill in the dough. Bake at 170-180 degrees for about 75 minutes. varies from oven to oven.
- After a toothpick test, let the cake cool down and cover with apricot and chocolate. Dust with icing sugar btavon – enjoy your meal.
