Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 chili peppers
  • 2 garlic cloves or 3
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped, from the can
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 dashes lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, finely dice the onion. Then deseed the chili peppers and finely chop them along with the garlic. Heat some olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion, garlic, and chili for 1 minute, then deglaze with the canned tomatoes. Then add the spices, sugar, and a dash of lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 5-6 minutes until it thickens slightly. Now let the salsa cool briefly and serve immediately. Enjoy! Approx. 317 kcal per serving.
