Spicy tomato-mozzarella pasta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta
  • salt water
  • 8 large tomatoes
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 250g mozzarella
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 10 basil leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the tomatoes and briefly place them in boiling water (about 2 minutes). Peel and dice them, reserving the liquid. Finely dice the onion, finely slice the chili pepper, and mix both with the tomatoes. Season the mixture with salt and white pepper and add the olive oil. Slice the basil leaves. Cut the mozzarella into 1-2 cm cubes. Cook the pasta in salted water. In a large bowl, combine the well-drained pasta with the tomato sauce and mozzarella cubes and serve.
