Spicy tomato soup with pasta and ham

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 can/n tomatoes, (pizza tomatoes)
  • 150 g ham, cooked, diced
  • 2 bell peppers, red, diced
  • 150 g pasta
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 700 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Dice the onion and sauté in olive oil. Add the bell peppers and ham and fry briefly. Stir in the tomato paste and add the pizza tomatoes. Mix well and add a pinch of sugar. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Add the vegetable stock and pasta and simmer for the cooking time indicated on the pasta package. If you don’t like it quite so spicy, simply omit the cayenne pepper, but I think it’s what makes the soup so special.
