Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 g onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 4 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • 250 g diced tomatoes (canned)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • Tabasco

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Dice the onion. Dice the bell pepper. Heat the oil in a deep pan. Sauté the onions until translucent. Add the bell peppers and sauté for about 5 minutes, then stir in the tomato paste and pepper. Deglaze with the tomatoes, press the garlic over the onion, and stir everything together. Simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes. Season to taste. This is best served with wild rice or whole-grain rice, depending on your taste; add the rice separately.
