Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g flour, smooth
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • n. B. water
  • 700 g spinach, chopped
  • 100 g cheese (hard cheese), grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours

Mix the dough ingredients with enough water to form a smooth dough and cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the spinach and season with salt, pepper and garlic. Let cool. Then mix the spinach, egg and cheese. Divide the dough in half and roll it out. Use the filling to form a sausage around the edge and make a mound in the middle. Roll out the second half and place it on top. Press the ends together at the edge. Use a knife to cut from the edge of the mound to the edge of the dough and fold it open at 90°. Sprinkle the middle of the flower with cheese. Then bake for about another 45 minutes at 180°C (top/bottom heat).
