Spinach and tuna casserole

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g leaf spinach, fresh or frozen
  • 200 g cream cheese, natural or with herbs
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 cans of tuna in its own juice
  • e.g. tomato(s)
  • 1 can mushrooms or fresh
  • n. B. Cheese for sprinkling
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Low-carb

Sauté the spinach with the garlic in a pan. Season the cream cheese with salt and pepper and toss to coat the spinach. Pour the spinach and cream cheese mixture into a casserole dish and spread the drained tuna over it. If desired, add tomatoes and mushrooms. Season again, then sprinkle with cheese. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 25 minutes.
