Spinach cream sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 g frozen spinach, portionable (no leaf spinach!)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 50 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp water
  • Broth, granulated
  • 1 tbsp cheese, grated
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil. Add the frozen spinach, thaw thoroughly, and heat through. Mix the cream and cornstarch together and add. Add water and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes. Season with spices and plenty of pepper. Add grated cheese before serving and mix well. Goes well with all types of pasta.
