Spinach Dal with Red Lentils

The perfect spinach dal with red lentils recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 medium sized Onion
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 150 g Red lenses
  • 250 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp Cream cheese, double cream
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB:
  • 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB:

  1. Thaw spinach leaves according to the instructions on the package!
  2. Peel and dice the onion. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion cubes in it.
  3. Stir in the lentils and deglaze with the vegetable stock. Simmer for 5 minutes on a low heat. Then add the spinach and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the lentils have soaked up the broth. Stir well!
  4. Add the cream cheese and season with seasoned salt, garam pepper and garam masala!
  5. Serve!
