Spinach Dal with Red Lentils
The perfect spinach dal with red lentils recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 medium sized Onion
- 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
- 150 g Red lenses
- 250 ml Vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp Cream cheese, double cream
- 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB:
- 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB:
- 1 tsp Garam Masala from my KB:

- Thaw spinach leaves according to the instructions on the package!
- Peel and dice the onion. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion cubes in it.
- Stir in the lentils and deglaze with the vegetable stock. Simmer for 5 minutes on a low heat. Then add the spinach and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the lentils have soaked up the broth. Stir well!
- Add the cream cheese and season with seasoned salt, garam pepper and garam masala!
- Serve!
