Spinach pancakes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 package of spinach, frozen, approx. 150 g
  • 60 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 smoked sausages (Cabanossi, ham sausage, salami)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg powder
  • Paprika powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Thaw the spinach. Stir the flour and egg into the thawed spinach. Finely dice the peeled onion and fry in hot oil until golden brown. Add the diced onion, crushed garlic clove, sliced ​​sausage, spices, and salt to the spinach mixture. If the mixture is too thick, stir in a little water or milk. Fry the batter in batches in hot oil to make pancakes. Enjoy the pancakes with either herb curd cheese or salad. We always eat them plain. Simply delicious.
