Mediterranean Chicken Fillet

The perfect mediterranean chicken fillet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Pc. Chicken fillet
  • 1 Can Peeled and diced tomatoes
  • 1 packet Diced feta
  • 1 bunch Spring onion
  • 2 Toes Garlic finely chopped
  • Gyros spice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Basil
  • Broth or water
  • Chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  1. Wash the chicken fillets, pat dry, season with salt, pepper and rub with gyros spice.
  2. Let the oil get hot in a pan and fry the chicken fillets until golden brown.
  3. In the meantime, wash the spring onions and cut into rings. Finely chop the garlic.
  4. In an ovenproof dish, pour the chicken fillets with the spring onions, garlic and the diced tomatoes on top. Season with oregano and basil, and pour in the oven for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees, occasionally adding a little broth or water. Then sprinkle the diced feta over the top and place it in the oven again for about 10 minutes
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley or fresh basil and serve with rice.
