Sponge cake with quark and mandarins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 125 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g quark (20%)
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 can of tangerine(s)
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Combine the softened butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, and quark in a bowl and mix. Then fold in the flour mixed with the baking powder, and finally, carefully fold in the mandarin oranges. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 55-60 minutes.
