Spring-like-Christmas Asparagus
The perfect spring-like-christmas asparagus recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 White asparagus
- 3 Cocktail tomatoes
- 1 Medium-Sized clove of garlic
- 0,5 Orange with untreated peel
- 1 tbsp Olive oil fruity
- 1 tsp Lemon thyme
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Msp Ceylon cinnamon
- • Gently heat the olive oil in a pan. • Peel the asparagus and cut into small pieces, then add to the pan. • Cut the cocktail tomatoes into small pieces and add them as well. • Chop the garlic clove very finely and add it too. • Slice a little of the outer orange peel, chop it finely and add it as well. • Add lemon thyme. • Put the lid on and let everything simmer slowly for about 40 minutes at the lowest possible heat, stirring occasionally.
- • Add salt, squeeze half an orange and add the juice from it. Allow the whole thing to reduce for about 5 minutes until it no longer floats too much. • Sprinkle a pinch of Ceylon cinnamon on top, stir again and serve immediately. • Let it taste good and be very happy!
