Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 beef (entrecôtes, ribeye), each 2 cm thick
- Oil, neutral (e.g. soybean oil)
- Salt
- Pepper, freshly ground
- 4 servings of French fries
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Sear the steaks on both sides in very hot oil, season with salt and pepper. Wrap in aluminum foil and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with French fries. Béarnaise sauce goes very well with this dish.
