Steamed Noodles
The perfect steamed noodles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Flour
- 60 g Melted butter
- 1 pkg. Yeast
- 300 ml Milk
- 1 Egg
- 60 g Sugar or without
- 1 teaspoon Lemon peel
- Jam
- Custard
- All ingredients should be at room temperature. Make a yeast dough with the flour, dry yeast, grated lemon zest, milk, melted butter, egg, salt and sugar. Let the dough rise for half an hour, knead again and let rise for another half an hour.
- 2nd variant 1. Butter a baking dish in the oven. Prick large pieces of the yeast dough with a tablespoon, press them flat with your hand and fill with a teaspoon of jam and form balls. Place these next to each other in the pan and bake at 200 ° C (fan oven) for about 30-40 minutes until light brown.
- Variant 2. In the steam, in the pan with lid: large pan with matching lid, 2 tablespoons of sugar + 2 tablespoons of butter, about 2cm high milk, bring to the boil and then (on my stove, level 1-10) from 10 to 3 downshift the dough pieces nicely next to each other in the pan. It should only simmer aaaaaaaanz lightly, ideal if the lid has no steam hole. about 30-40 minutes. The longer you are in the pan, the more caramelized the sugar on the bottom …… very yummy !!!
- Tip 4: This works wonderfully with a coated pan! Red berry jam, whatever which one, my people think the best-)
