Stollen cookies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g quark
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 60 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 70 g raisins
  • 25 g butter
  • 50 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Place the flour, quark, sugar, egg, butter, and baking powder in a mixing bowl and knead into a dough using the dough hook on a hand mixer. Add the raisins and nuts. To make the dough easier to shape, roll it out a little and chill briefly. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the rolls into slices and form small stollen. Place them on a baking sheet, leaving some space between them; they will rise. Bake for 25 minutes. When they are well browned on the bottom, they are done. Heat the butter in a saucepan and brush the finished cookies with it, then quickly dust with powdered sugar. Tip: If you don’t like raisins, leave them out. Instead, use 100g of hazelnuts. This tastes great too. You can also use other types of nuts.
