Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 leaves of lettuce of your choice
  • 1 tomato(s), sliced
  • ½ onion(s), sliced
  • 2 slices of cheese of your choice
  • 2 gherkins, each cut twice lengthwise
  • Oregano, dried
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • some butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

The way we like to eat it

Place the breads side by side on a plate and spread with a little butter. Layer the ham, pepper, lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, cheese slices, oregano, and gherkin slices evenly on the breads. Cook two fried eggs and place them on top. Sprinkle with paprika to serve. The Strammer Max can be varied in size, making it a versatile dish that can be served anytime and for any occasion.
