Strammer Max with pineapple

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 2 slices of processed cheese
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 slices of pineapple
  • 2 small eggs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

As I know it from my grandmother

Toast the slices of toast until golden brown. When they’re done, top each with a slice of pineapple, a slice of ham, and a slice of cheese. The ham can be omitted (for vegetarians). Place the toast in the oven (approx. 180 degrees Celsius) and bake until the cheese begins to brown. I bake it for about 10-12 minutes, but it may take longer or shorter depending on your oven. Fry the eggs into fried eggs, place them on the toast, and season with salt and pepper. The end result is a juicy “Strammer Max” that tastes great and is a great snack to satisfy a little hunger.
