Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 rolls, (souls)
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups of natural yogurt 1.5% (150 g each)
  • 300 g ham, cooked
  • 300 g cheese, grated Emmental
  • 1 pot of chives
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for 6 whole souls = 12 halves

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Halve the ham rolls. Cut the cooked ham into small cubes and cut the chives into small rolls. Mix the sour cream and yogurt until smooth, then fold in the ham cubes and 200g of grated cheese. Fold in the chives and season with salt and pepper. Spread the halved ham rolls with approximately 2-4 tablespoons (if desired) of the mixture and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of grated cheese. Place the coated ham rolls on the baking sheet and place them on the middle rack of the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 10-15 minutes and serve while still hot. Serve with a variety of salads.
