Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 500 g strawberries, peeled and weighed
- 1 jar pepper, green
- ½ bottle of Pernod
- 1 pack of whipped cream, lactose-free

Wash, hull, and halve the strawberries. You can also quarter them if you like. Pat dry with kitchen paper and place them in a glass bowl. Sprinkle with green pepper. You can use all the green pepper from a small jar. Then add enough Pernod to completely cover the berries and pepper. If necessary, weigh them down with a plate. Let it steep overnight. The next day, or if you’re preparing it early, the evening before the party, remove the strawberries, place them in dessert bowls, and garnish with whipped cream.
