Strawberries with vanilla cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • powdered sugar
  • 250 g quark (40%, low-fat quark also works)
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • lemon juice
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 100 ml cream
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries, halve or quarter them, and mix with a little powdered sugar to let stand. Mix the quark with the scraped-out seeds of the vanilla bean, about 1 tablespoon of sugar, and a few drops of lemon juice. Whip the crème fraîche and cream with a little sugar until stiff peaks form and fold into the quark. Chill. To serve, place about 2 tablespoons of the quark cream into a serving dish and top with strawberries. Top with a small dollop of cream and a little strawberry juice.
