Strawberry-apricot jam with almond brittle

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 30 g almond(s), chopped
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 750 g strawberries
  • 250 g apricot(s)
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1
  • 50 ml Amaretto (almond liqueur)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Roast the almonds and powdered sugar in a nonstick pan without fat until golden brown. Finely chop the strawberries and apricots and heat. Mix with the almonds and gelling sugar, bring to a boil, and simmer for at least 4 minutes. Add the Amaretto, pour into jars while still hot, and seal immediately.
