Strawberry-banana ice cream

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 500 g banana(s)
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 400 ml cream or milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Wash, hull, and halve the strawberries. Peel the bananas and chop them into smaller pieces. Place them in a freezer-safe bowl with the lemon juice and freeze. Overnight is best, but a few hours will probably suffice. Place the frozen fruit, cream/milk, vanilla sugar, and honey in the blender and blend on speed 10 for 1:30 minutes. Check after 1 minute and add a little more fruit if necessary. It’s best to eat it right away. You can also refreeze it, but then you’ll need to take it out of the freezer and thaw it a bit before it sets, as it will harden again.
