Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g strawberries
- 1 lime(s), juice and zest
- 30 g powdered sugar
- 1 bunch of mint
- 3 sprigs of basil
- 70 ml rapeseed oil
- 70 g powdered sugar
- ½ lemon(s), zest
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp lime juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
with mint and basil
Wash and hull the strawberries, then thinly slice them. Arrange them fan-shaped on plates. Wash the lime in hot water and then zest it. Squeeze out the juice. Mix the juice with the zest and 30g of powdered sugar. Once the powdered sugar has completely dissolved, marinate the strawberries. Wash the lemon and zest it. Pick the mint and basil leaves and place them in a bowl with the oil, powdered sugar, water, lime and lemon juice, and the zest of 1/2 lemon. Blend. Sprinkle some of the juice over the strawberries and serve the rest in a small bowl.
