Pepper – Strawberries

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries, fresh
  • 150 g yogurt (full milk yogurt)
  • 2 tsp pepper, pickled green
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 lime(s), untreated, grated peel
  • mint

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Refreshing dessert

Chop the peppercorns and mix with the grated lime zest, lime juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and vanilla sugar. Wash, hull, and quarter the strawberries. Gently toss the strawberries with the spice mix and let them marinate in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the yogurt with the remaining sugar. Serve the strawberries in a small bowl with a spoonful of the yogurt sauce. Garnish with a sprig of green mint.
