Strawberry crepes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g strawberries
  • 250 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 125 g wheat flour
  • 8 tbsp wheat germ
  • Sunflower oil
  • ½ pack vanilla sauce (instant powder)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Wash and slice the fruit. Whisk 125 ml of milk with the eggs. Add salt, sugar, and sifted flour and mix until smooth. Add the wheat germ and let it rest for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry a ladleful of batter at a time over medium heat. Turn after 2 minutes and remove when golden brown. Continue until all the batter is used. Keep the finished crêpes warm in the oven. Mix the vanilla powder with the remaining milk according to the package instructions. Roll the crêpes and serve with sauce and strawberries.
