Chocolate banana pancakes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 375 g flour or oat flakes
  • 500 ml milk, almond milk, soy milk,…
  • 2 m.-sized banana(s)
  • 100 g sugar or icing sugar, depending on sweetness
  • 1 tbsp, heaped cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • some oil for the pan
  • n. E. Nutella, bananas, maple syrup …

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pancakes, simple and without eggs

Chop the bananas into small pieces. I always cut them into slices about 3-6 mm thick first, then quarter them. Pour the milk into a mixing bowl. Then add the flour and cocoa powder, and possibly the sugar (depending on taste), and mix with an electric mixer until a smooth batter forms. Finally, add the bananas and stir in with a spoon or something similar. Now add a little oil to a pan and heat it. Ladle a little batter into the pan. When the edges of the pancake are cooked through and the batter in the center is no longer too runny, carefully flip the pancake. Flip again if desired. Serve with Nutella, bananas, or maple syrup. Oatmeal can be used instead of the flour. You can also omit the bananas or cocoa powder. I hope you enjoy this dish. This is my first recipe, and I’m still experimenting a lot (I’m only 13). If you have any suggestions for improvements, please leave them in the comments.
