Strawberry Gratin
The perfect strawberry gratin recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 tbsp Grand Marnier
- 500 g Fresh strawberries
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 Pc. Chicken egg yolk fresh
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 1 dl Cream
- Powdered sugar
- Clean the strawberries and cut in half or into quarters, depending on their size. Mix with Grand Marnier and 2 tablespoons sugar and let it steep
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and butter the gratin dish or 4 molds very well
- Add egg yolk, sugar, vanilla sugar and 2-3 tablespoons of juice from the strawberry juice and whip everything into a thick, light cream then carefully mix in the whipped cream
- Now put the drained strawberries in the gratin dish and spread the cream over it
- Baked for about 10-12 minutes
- I served this strawberry gratin with vanilla ice cream
