Strawberry Panna Cotta with Balsamic Syrup

The perfect strawberry panna cotta with balsamic syrup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Strawberries
  • 250 g Whipped cream
  • 50 g Powdered sugar
  • 3 leaf Gelatin
  • 100 ml Balsamic vinegar
  • 100 ml Red wine
  • 50 g Sugar
  1. Wash the strawberries, cut into pieces. Put the cream and powdered sugar in a saucepan and simmer gently over a medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Soak the gelatin in cold water for a few minutes. Puree the hot cream with the strawberries. Squeeze out the gelatine and dissolve it in it. Now fill the mixture into molds and place in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. The amount depends on the size of the dessert bowls. Mix the balsamic vinegar, red wine and sugar, reduce to a third, allow to cool and pour over the panna cotta. Caution: Do not boil down too much for too long, otherwise it will become too firm.
