Strawberry Rose Cake

The perfect strawberry rose cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 60 g Butter
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 720 ml Milk
  • 220 g Cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 80 ml Cream
  • Strawberries
  1. For the dough, melt the butter and place in a bowl. Add sugar and stir in. Add the flour. Gradually pour in the milk. Stir in vigorously with a whisk, being careful not to create any lumps.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, sugar and cream in a second bowl.
  3. Bake thin crepes bit by bit from the batter in a non-stick pan or a crepes pan. Layer on a plate and let cool.
  4. Cut the crepes into wide strips. Lay out one strip flat at a time, chop pieces of crepes on the sides to make the strip longer.
  5. Brush the strips with the cream cheese cream and cover the top edge with strawberry slices. Roll up the first strip tightly and roll the other strips around it until you have a round cake shape. Serve on a platter.
