Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g quark
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • some lemon juice
  • 200 g flour
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g margarine
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Knead the quark, oil, egg, sugar, salt, flour, baking powder, and lemon juice into a smooth dough, roll out, and cut out shapes with a round glass. Roll out into an oval shape with a rolling pin in one direction and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Knead the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, margarine, and cinnamon into crumbs, spread evenly on the “tongues.” Place in a preheated oven (175°C, top/bottom heat) and bake for about 15 minutes (depending on the oven). Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
