Strudel dough in a flash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of sweet cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Very quick and easy to prepare, baker’s recipe

Combine flour, egg, salt, and cream in a tall bowl. First, mix with a mixer fitted with a dough hook. Then, knead again on a floured wooden board or work surface. Cover and let the dough rest for about half an hour before further processing. I use this dough for apple strudel. It makes two strudel rolls. It’s very easy to work with and is wonderfully elastic when rolled out.
