Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 10 small Jalapeño(s) , green
- ½ cup cream cheese, approx. 100 g
- 20 thin slices of bacon
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
with cream cheese and bacon slices
Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise under cold running water and remove the seeds. Dry with paper towels and discard them immediately. Wash your hands. Stuff the jalapeños with the cream cheese. Thinly slice the bacon and place it on top of the filling. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes, until the bacon is crispy. Or, after 20 minutes, place it under the broiler until the bacon is crispy. Note: The jalapeños are very, very hot. Avoid touching your face during preparation! Wash your hands thoroughly after preparation.
