Stuffed minced meat peppers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 cm water
  • 2 tsp beef broth, instant
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1 shot of red wine
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Using a mixer, combine the minced meat with the egg yolk, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper, and fill the stemmed bell peppers with the minced meat. Pierce the outside of the bell peppers with a toothpick and sear them in a pan. Then, fill the pan with 2 cm of water and stir in the stock. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Then, add the stock, mustard, red wine, and paprika for the sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Serve the bell peppers over rice.
