Stuffed mushrooms for the grill or oven

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms, large
  • 4 large slices of cooked ham
  • 1 onion(s)
  • e.g. parsley, washed and chopped
  • n. B. cheese, grated
  • 1 cup of sour cream, approx. 200 g
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp pizza seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems, but don’t throw them away. Chop the stems, the cooked ham, and the peeled onion and fry them in a little oil until the onions are slightly translucent. Let the mixture cool. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200°C fan or turn on the grill. Pour the sour cream into a bowl, add the mushroom stems, the cooked ham, and the onion, and season with salt, pepper, pizza seasoning, and parsley to taste. Fill the mushrooms with the mixture and top with a little grated cheese. Place the mushrooms on the grill for 15 minutes or in the oven for 20 minutes. For a vegetarian version, simply replace the cooked ham with paprika. It tastes really good, too.
