Stuffed turkey schnitzel with two types of cheese and cooked ham in lemon and chive sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 turkey cutlets, as flat as possible
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp cheese of your choice, grated
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 1 bag of sauce (lemon butter sauce)
  • 2 tbsp chives
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Clarified butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Carefully pound the turkey schnitzels as flat as possible and season with salt and pepper. Mix the cream cheese with the grated cheese and cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika. Top each schnitzel with a slice of cooked ham and spread the cheese cream on top. Pin them together with a roulade pin and sear them vigorously on both sides in hot clarified butter. Cook for approximately 10-15 minutes over medium heat. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce according to the instructions, but add 4 tablespoons of cream and the chives and season gently with cayenne pepper. Serve as a side dish with rice with plenty of parsley and mixed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots).
